Jen’s career in the entertainment industry began when she was named a national finalist in NBC’s Stand-Up for Diversity. Since then, Jen’s comedic songs have been featured by: The New York Times, PBS, ComedyCentral, BuzzFeed, Angry Asian Man and Rolling Stone Magazine.
Television roles include: Netflix’s Friends From College, ABC's Quantico, HBO’s High Maintenance, Showtime’s Nurse Jackie. Jen has also hosted PBS’ Asian America, and was Band Leader / Keytarist of MTV's Middle of the Night Show. She also works behind the scenes, writing music for television, podcasts and corporate brands.
A versatile live performer, Jen has performed music and comedy at such iconic venues as: The Kennedy Center, Joe’s Pub, WNYC’s Greene Space, Ars Nova, Highline Ballroom, UCBT and colleges & universities across the country. Jen's live music project, Songs for One, was a unique, intimate experience where she performed concerts for over 100 people, one single person at a time.
Jen’s viral music videos range from early YouTube hit, “Date an Asian”, to a soulful acoustic cover of 90's hit “My Boo”, and “I Can’t Wait!” a 60-second musical TikTok about post-pandemic life.
